**Advisory Architect, Portfolio**
**POSITION PROFILE:**
The Advisory Architect, Portfolio will be responsible for establishing and managing the portfolio architecture direction and standards for Ricoh’s portfolio in the US. This individual will work with strategy managers in industry verticals and core business domains to apply technology architecture standards and establish specific business and technology strategies for service offerings. The role will involve relaying business requirements to technical development teams to execute the strategy. The Advisory Architect will also champion the use of technology to transform solution delivery models and modernize traditional services.
This role requires staying ahead of emerging trends in technologies, determining their application in Ricoh's portfolio, and placing them into multi-year roadmaps. The architect will also develop strategic vendor relationships, ensuring that partnerships accelerate Ricoh's ability to service the market effectively. Strong communication skills are essential for conveying technical vision and roadmaps clearly to senior leadership, customers, and vendors.
**TECHNOLOGIES INVOLVED:**
+ **Full Stack Development:** Involvement in both front-end and back-end development to create scalable applications.
+ **Microservices Architecture:** Design and implement microservices to build modular, scalable, and maintainable systems.
+ **API Development & Integration:** Focus on developing and integrating APIs to facilitate smooth communication between different software components.
+ **Database Management:** Experience with MSSQL and MySQL for managing and optimizing relational databases.
+ **CI/CD Pipelines:** Work with Jenkins to set up and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines for automation.
+ **DevOps & Infrastructure as Code:** Expertise in DevOps practices and tools, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate infrastructure deployment.
+ **Cloud Platforms:** Experience working with AWS cloud services to design and implement cloud-native applications.
**JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Anticipate business requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and assist in the development of strategic services.
+ Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop strategies for process optimization.
+ Conduct requirements analysis, documenting and communicating the results of efforts.
+ Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional teams and management.
+ Relay business requirements to technical teams for execution.
+ Ensure that technology solutions meet business needs and requirements.
+ Collaborate with UX/UI designers to build mockups for customer experiences within applications.
+ Perform UAT to ensure solutions meet required specifications.
+ Keep up to date with the latest process and software enhancements to automate and modernize systems.
+ Ensure the service delivery models reflect optimizations targeted through new technologies.
+ Work closely with execution teams to ensure synergies across solutions.
+ Participate in the evaluation of vendor technologies and roadmaps.
+ Help assess and build value for customers through vendor evaluations.
+ Develop and execute communication plans regarding service direction, standards, and roadmaps.
+ Identify and manage resources required for cross-functional initiatives.
+ Participate in MAP to accelerate speed to market.
+ Perform additional duties as required.
**QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications):**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
+ 10+ years of experience developing and delivering technology solutions to customers, with a focus on emerging IT services.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or related fields, leading large, complex projects.
+ Experience in organizational change management, ensuring the adoption of transformation programs.
+ Experience presenting to senior executives and driving strategic discussions.

+ Ability to build positive relationships across departments at all levels.
+ Expertise in dealing with both internal and external customers.
+ Able to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
+ Strong written and oral communication, with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively.

+ Ability to motivate teams and individuals by creating a positive environment, providing training, and mentoring.
+ Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze data and recognize market trends.
+ Comfortable working with senior leadership on problem resolution, process improvements, metrics, and reporting.
**WORKING CONDITIONS, MENTAL, AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:**
+ Typically works in an office with adequate lighting, ventilation, and normal temperature and noise levels.
+ Diverse work assignments requiring interpretation of complex material and data.
+ Minimal physical effort, mainly sedentary work with some walking, standing, and light lifting (up to 10 lbs).
+ Moderate regional and national travel may be required
