Analyst I, Sales Operations

The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for the analysis, collection and reporting of sales figures not limited to but including revenue attainment, sales activity for the Direct Sales organization. This role also plays a key role in supporting the Manager of Sales Operations in the preparation of the annual Sales Compensation and budgeting process as well as the ongoing review of territory alignment for the purposes of budgeting.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide regular reporting of national sales forecast, including analysis of historical trends for the sales revenue, operating budgets and expenses; Design, develop, document, execute, measure, and manage assigned sales projects and initiatives for functional stakeholders; Analyze and provide solutions for sales process inefficiencies as required; Develop and distribute various reports to assist the sales organization in their daily and corporate-driven targeting efforts via salesforce.com, BAAN and other sources; Design and provide ad hoc reports, such as weekly revenue, flash reports and financial models as well as the provision of detailed analysis of various revenue, expense and headcount reports; Manage the intake and follow up of outstanding Sales Compensation plan sign off and provide to Human Resources; Maintain Sales Organization Charts; Prepare quarterly review of expired leases and submit report to National Manager Sales Operations, President and VP Sales; Update and Revise Monthly Business Unit Review presentation deck; Work with Manager, Sales Operation, and Finance in creation and design of annual Sales Compensation Plan process including plan design, communication and coordination of approvals, etc.; Provide support on creation of annual Sales Budget; Manage specific projects from start to finish representing the interests of Sales Management and Operations; Other duties as assigned by manager.Qualifications:
Post Secondary Education in business related discipline Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with sales compensation structure Minimum of 2 years’ experience in data analysis, preferably in a sales environmentSkills:
Strong knowledge of sales comp plans Detail oriented with strong analytical and numerical aptitudes Advanced proficiency in the use of MS Office applications including MS Access, PowerPoint, and Excel Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a variety of individuals at varying levels Ability to work independently and be self directed Demonstrated ability to apply appropriate discretion and handle sensitive or confidential information with the highest degree of tact, integrity and confidentiality
