In this role, you’ll work closely with Category Management, Operations & Executives to support the Restaurant business and initiatives. This role is responsible for conducting strategic advanced data and analytics and visualization, along with the creation/maintenance of business reporting. This role will support a variety of projects within the Restaurant Category team. 7-Eleven operates 1,100 QSR restaurants under multiple brands including Laredo Taco Company, Speedy Café and Roost. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES : Data Analysis & Insights + Analyze consumer behavior, sales trends, and market data to identify growth opportunities and support strategic initiatives. + Research category performance and competitive dynamics to inform assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies. + Leverage tools like Power BI and internal systems to generate regular and ad hoc reports covering sales performance, item movement, SKU rationalization, planogram effectiveness, and pricing studies. + Conduct opportunity gap analyses to identify underperforming areas and recommend actionable improvements. Business Support & Reporting + Deliver accurate, timely, and relevant insights to internal teams, including Category Managers, Directors, and Executives. + Collaborate with business stakeholders to provide recommendations that support merchandising and category growth goals. + Present findings and performance dashboards that aid in decision-making and strategic planning. + Manage and execute field analysis projects to assess performance and identify store-level opportunities. Project Management & Strategy + Lead and support cross-functional projects, including the development of project plans, timelines, and processes. + Partner with IT to understand data structures, ensure data integrity, and enhance reporting capabilities. + Identify market gaps and contribute to the development of strategies to drive growth in assigned categories or regions. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: + EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree + YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 1+ years + YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: NA SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS : + Experience: 1 – 3 years of experience + Strong analytic skills with a high attention to detail + Experienced with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) + Knowledgeable in data visualization products such as PowerBI + Solution based analytics and report development + Self-starter with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
