Job Summary
Responsibility over full leadership and hospital operations and/or health system. Will ensure success of the hospital through quality enhancement, cost containment, revenue growth and development of strong relationships with hospital staff, board members, and community leaders.
Essential Functions
a. Oversees initiatives and programs to measure and improve quality.
b. Consistently uses Mission Statement in evaluating new programs and services.
Ensures that the services offered are of the highest quality and meet community needs. Builds and maintains relationships with hospital staff, physicians, community leaders, and regulatory bodies to support operational success and meet hospital objectives. Oversees hospital leadership teams, including CFOs and CNOs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational excellence. Collaborates with hospital leadership to develop and implement strategies for revenue growth, cost management, and meeting budgetary goals. Works closely with CHS senior management, providing regular updates on hospital performance, financials, and project progress. Responsible for the attainment of short- and long-term financial and operational goals. Assures quality of care by adhering to professional standards, healthcare organization policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) standards; maintaining cooperative relationships among healthcare team members. Leads and manages operational functions across the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and delivering high-quality, efficient patient care. Analyzes operational data, metrics, and trends to identify improvement opportunities and lead performance enhancement initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
Master's Degree in hospital administration and / or business administration required and Bachelor's Degree in hospital administration and / or business administration required 5-7 years Demonstrated successful leadership in an acute care hospital facility, which includes but is not limited to: building relationships with board members, physicians, hospital employees, and community; growing hospital revenue to meet budgetary goals and objectives; and meeting necessary regulatory and compliance approvals and quality accreditations. requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
