Job Description SummaryThe Clinic Supervisor is responsible for coordinating daily clinic operations, resulting in high patient satisfaction, staff efficiency and quality results. This role is accountable for the day-to-day supervision of clinic staff, ensuring appropriate implementation and adherence to established practices, policies and procedures of the Clinic and Patient Care Services as allowed by scope.
Job DescriptionEssential Functions

Monitor, develop, coach and mentor staff to achieve quality patient care outcomes;

Assist in establishing and implementing departmental goals, objectives, processes and policies that pertain to clinical areas;Responsible for daily work assignments for all staff;Responsible for covering clinical, ancillary and clerical positions as allowed by scope and supporting patient throughput when personnel are out for any reason; Effectively communicate with physicians, staff and patients in a professional and respectful manner;Prepare staffing models and work schedules for all staff;Assist with ensuring staff accuracy with quality and compliant clinical documentation;Responsible for ordering supplies and effectively managing and maintaining inventory;Perform annual performance reviews and maintain progressive discipline for staff;Ensure that time and attendance for staff is accurately entered in Kronos;Assist with gathering and reporting data for routine quality initiatives;Assist with interviewing and selecting staff for open positions;Plan and prepare for routine staff meetings.

May include clinical, ancillary and/or clerical staff;Clinical supervision is administrative or as allowed by scope.

QualificationsMinimum Experience RequiredOne (1) year of medical office experienceMinimum Experience PreferredTwo (2) years of medical office experience in a leadership roleMinimum Education RequiredCurrent Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or;Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or;Registered as a Technologist by American Registry of Radiologic TechnologistsMinimum Education PreferredCompletion of an undergraduate degreeCompletion of ARRT (VI) certification

Required Skills/Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills;Strong decision making and problem solving skills;Ability to effectively communicate in an emergency situation;Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clinic staff, interdepartmental staff and physicians;Strong technical/computer skills.
