Job Summary
The Director, Materials Management oversees the procurement, distribution, and inventory management of supplies, equipment, and materials necessary for facility operations. This role ensures cost-effective sourcing, efficient supply chain processes, and compliance with regulatory standards. The Director collaborates with leadership to optimize supply chain strategies, negotiate vendor contracts, and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and patient care support.
Essential Functions
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required 7-9 years of experience in materials management, supply chain, or procurement required 3-5 years of leadership experience in materials management or supply chain operations requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, procurement strategies, and inventory control. Ability to analyze financial data, manage budgets, and optimize cost efficiency. Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills. Proficiency in supply chain management systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP), and inventory management software. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to enhance supply chain operations and service delivery.Licenses and Certifications
Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) preferred
