Job Summary
The Director, Rehabilitation Services is responsible for the daily operations of all departmental functions of the unit including administrative, fiscal, and patient care modalities to ensure a provision of high quality care. Responsible for organizing, planning, directing, and evaluating the services in all areas of the unit. The director collaborates with all disciplines within the facility, as well as other healthcare facilities to provide inpatient physical rehab services and to ensure a high quality continuum of care following acute medical services.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Licensed Registered Nurse; required or Bachelor's Degree registered licensed Physical Therapist required or Bachelor's Degree registered Licensed Occupational Therapist required or Bachelor's Degree registered Licensed Speech Language Pathologist required 2-4 years IRF experience in a leadership role required 3-5 years experience overseeing an Inpatient Post Acute Facility preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong skills in organizing, planning, directing, and evaluating departmental functions to ensure high-quality care. In-depth knowledge of CMS regulatory and compliance standards, ensuring successful participation as a Distinct Part Unit. Comprehensive understanding of patient care modalities within inpatient physical rehabilitation. Ability to work effectively with all disciplines within the Health System and other healthcare facilities to provide a seamless continuum of care. Proficiency in managing daily operations, including administrative and fiscal responsibilities. Knowledge of budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to support departmental functions. Ability to develop and implement strategies for quality improvement to enhance patient care and service delivery. Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients, staff, and other stakeholders. Excellent problem-solving skills to address challenges and ensure smooth operation of the unit.Licenses and Certifications
