Job Summary
The EEG Technician performs electroencephalograms (EEGs) and evoked potential (EVP) tests using specialized equipment to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions. This role involves patient assessment, observation, and care documentation, ensuring procedures are conducted safely and accurately. The EEG Technician operates independently, maintaining a clean and organized work environment and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications
Technical School completion of a formal EEG Technician training program preferred 0-2 years of experience in performing EEGs or related clinical experience requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of EEG and EVP procedures and equipment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare staff. Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions in a clinical environment. Basic computer skills for entering charges, managing schedules, and documenting patient information. Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and a clean work area.Licenses and Certifications
BCLS - Basic Life Support required
