Job Description:
This position is accountable for the provision of patient care and other activities as permitted by licensure and defined within Credentialing and Privileging documentation (hospital), Credentialing and Scope of Practice (Medical Group), Consultation and Referral Plan (DOPL) or other similar documentation as appropriate. As part of that patient care, this position is accountable to: deliver optimal patient care through effective clinical practice; education of the patient, patient's family, clinical staff, and others; consultation with other healthcare providers; and maintain current knowledge regarding options for optimal patient care and outcomes.Gastroenterology Advanced Practice Provider

About this role:
As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Gastroenterology, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will run the clinic and treat patients with the following conditions: GERD/acid reflux, IBS, Crohn’s disease, Ulcerative colitis, liver disease/hepatitis, Celiac disease, gallbladder disease, etc. with dedicated support from in-house supervising gastroenterology physicians and consultative services from our dedicated IBD and Hepatology Clinics.
This position includes up to $7,500 in relocation assistance, annual CME time off and allowance, malpractice insurance, PTOYou will practice at the Grundhofer Clinic in Park City, UT and the Heber Valley Specialty Clinic in Heber, UTYour hours will be Monday - Friday; (4) clinic days w/ one admin dayYou will not work nights, weekends or take call in this positionHow we'll support you:

Life in Park City, UT
Park City, elevation 7,000 feet, is located in the mountains east of Salt Lake City in Summit County, population 8,754. It is a short 40-minute drive to Salt Lake City. The Park City area currently has three world class resorts: Park City Mountain Resort, Deer Valley Resort, and The Canyons Resort. It was a venue for the 2002 Winter Olympics and continues to host the Sundance Film Festival, the Park City Music Festival, the Park City Jazz Festival, and Utah Symphony & Opera's Deer Valley Music Festival.
Physical Requirements:
Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.- and -
Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.

Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.

Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.

Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc).

May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time.
