Human Resources Manager
Job Description

Job Summary 

The Manager, Human Resources is responsible for managing and executing a wide range of human resource functions to support organizational goals and foster a positive work environment. This role serves as a strategic partner to employees and leadership, providing expertise in employee relations, talent development, performance management, and HR policy implementation. 

Essential Functions

Provides guidance and consultation to employees and leaders on complex employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and legal compliance. Develops, communicates, and implements HR policies and procedures, providing coaching and training to employees and managers as needed. Manages HR staff, including hiring, onboarding, performance coaching, and termination processes. Oversees performance evaluation processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and facilitating leader coaching for effective evaluations. Designs and executes leadership and employee development programs, including training, coaching, and recognition initiatives.   Leads organizational change initiatives, such as reduction-in-force (RIF) planning, outsourcing/insourcing recommendations, and managing third-party HR service providers. Analyzes HR metrics and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership for workforce planning and process improvements. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required Master's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred 4-6 years of progressive experience in human resources, including employee relations, performance management, and leadership development required 1-3 years of experience managing a team of HR professionals preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and regulatory compliance. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills. Proficiency in HR systems and tools, as well as Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.

Licenses and Certifications

SHRM-CP preferred or SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred
