Job DescriptionQUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alabama. May be a graduate of an accredited program of study in dietetics with current licensure in the State of Alabama. Current registration as a practitioner in the State of Florida, and in the State of Georgia (additional registrations may be completed within 90 days of employment or effective date of transfer. Current clinical certification in some area of lactation, or progress toward same. At least five (5) years experience working with childbearing families.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field.
LANGUAGE/ COMMUNICATION SKILLS:Must be able to read, write, and speak English

Core CompetenciesSuccessful course completion in Neonatal Resuscitation Program Successful course completion in Basic Cardiac Life Support Successful course completion of institutional Intermediate EKG Course. Completion of at least one of the following competency areas
Labor and DeliverySuccessful course completion in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Fetal Monitoring Interpretation Skills (after completion of educational requirements)
Fetal Spiral Electrode placement (after completion of educational requirements) Maternal Transports
