Job Summary:
Assists the department in daily activities; sorting inbound mail for deliveries to complete various building mail runs throughout the facility; processing UPS and USPS packages for outbound mailing; back-up for all positions in mail center, copy center and receptionist desk. A valid driver’s license and good driving record is a must.
Responsibilities:
Handling/Sorting Mail for inbound/outbound deliveryProcessing of packages for outbound delivery for UPS & USPSOperates various office equipment, software and/or tools required by the department to complete assigned tasksAnswers and responds to incoming phone calls and emails requesting support relative to the assigned departmentPerforms routine record filing and may be responsible for the set up and maintenance of filing systemsReceives and distributes mail, reports, and other department recordsResearches and analyzes data under the guidance of a higher-level personnelCommunicates clearly and accurately with internal and external customersPerforms simple mathematical equations and completes routine forms as neededMaintains operating knowledge of manual and computer systems utilized by the assigned departmentSupports other departments during installs, upgrades, and conversions according to goals of the assigned departmentReceives cross-training in one or more department functions and can perform duties for any absent personnel within the departmentCompletes departmental reporting as neededCompletes other duties, including special projects, as assigned by ManagementEducation Requirements: High School Diploma or GED
Skill Requirements:
