**SUMMARY/POSITION OBJECTIVE:**
The Manager, Commercial Operation and Training, Dermatology will report to the Director, Commercial Operation and is responsible for sales operational activities and development, delivery and coordination of Immunology (DUPIXENT) specific training materials with a strong focus on the Dermatology space. Areas of focus include sales operation and the delivery of product and competitive knowledge, customer interaction skills for the Atopic Dermatitis focused sales team. Training support includes all areas of commercial including sales, marketing and local referral management.
**JOB DUTIES:**
The Manager, Commercial Operation and Training, Dermatology delivers sales operation related activities and leads in the development and execution of disease state, brand & therapeutic area specific training programs and meetings, and drives other relevant training initiatives.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
• Cooperate with alliance partners in the implementation of Dupixent’s local commercialization strategies across therapeutic areas (Rhinology, Respiratory and Ddermatology).
• Partner with the sales team in providing brand strategic direction
• Provide high quality input where required to local market development and commercial activities
• Support implementation of local tactical plans and the provision of marketing/sales support materials
• Uses best in class means of training delivery including eLearning, self-study, computer-based training, audio/video, classroom and experiential learning to ensure the relevant team is trained and to deliver via a clinical selling model the attributes of our products and services
• Develops content and facilitates both new hire and advanced training
• Leads in the development of Regeneron Field trainers and in the implementation of Field Trainer lead programs while coaching and developing individual skills and behaviors
• Develops a means of measuring the effectiveness of training programs through testing, etc. and build post meeting surveys
• Ensure all training is provided in accordance with MR certification guidance in Japan, company policies and procedures and are conducted in strict compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Ensures all developed materials are appropriately approved through the Medical/Legal/Regulatory process.
• Functions effectively in collaborating with Alliance partners
• Conducts field visits with medical specialists and reimbursement managers to keep abreast of current trends, to identify training opportunities
• Perform other related duties as directed by both the Exec. Dir of Training and Director of Training, Immunology
**JOB REQUIREMENTS:**
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, ability to work across multiple departments and create effective teams
• Demonstrated mastery in presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills are required
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, strong organizational, planning, and project management skills are necessary, with a high results orientation required
• Demonstrated mastery in oral and written technical communication as well as background with instructional design
• Work in a high paced, timeline driven atmosphere
• Business level reading and writing English skill required, speaking/listening is a plus
• Demonstrate flexibility, leadership, Influence, Emotional Intelligence in working with many stakeholders
• Computer skills:
o Must be proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel.
o Training software such as Microsoft Teams for Business preferred
• Demonstrates Regeneron’s Core Success Factors including but not limited to passion for the work, behaving ethically and professionally, professional excellence and teamwork.
• Frequent / Regular travel to Commercial offices in Tokyo and field required
**Required Licenses & Certificates:**
• MR Certification
• DiSC and Situational Leadership 2 trainer license a plus
**Minimum Years of Experience:**
• Seven years’ experience in specialty pharmaceutical/biotech sales/leadership or related experience
• More than 2years of Sales operation related function experience is required (District Manager, Sales Operation, Marketing Operation etc)
• More than 1 year people management experience
• More than a year of training or regional training experience a plus
• Immunology/biologics/specialty care experience preferred, Dermatology/Respiratory experience a plus
• Language Requirements: Fluency in Japanese, business level English a plus
• Previous work within a co-promote or Alliance a plus
