Job Summary:

The Manager, Indirect Tax is responsible for leading the organization's multi-state and local indirect tax function, with a primary focus on sales and use tax compliance, reporting, and audit management. This role ensures timely and accurate filings, manages tax software systems, provides strategic tax guidance, and collaborates with business units across the enterprise. The Manager drives compliance with evolving tax regulations while seeking operational efficiencies and supporting business objectives.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration 7-9 years of experience in Indirect Tax, including multi-state sales and use tax Experience using Vertex Sales & Use Tax and Oracle Cloud ERP Experience with tax audits, compliance strategy, and system-based reportingPreferred:
Master's Degree Prior experience managing tax reporting for complex organizations Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certified Member of the Institute – Sales Tax (CMI–Sales Tax)Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Deep understanding of indirect tax laws, including sales, use, excise, and gross receipts taxes. Strong knowledge of tax data analytics and reconciliation practices. Proficiency with Vertex, Oracle, Microsoft Excel, and Google Suite. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including composing responses to tax authorities. Ability to manage multiple deadlines across jurisdictions with high attention to detail. Strong problem-solving, process improvement, and interpersonal skills. Ability to interpret technical tax guidance and apply it to real-world scenarios.This is a fully remote opportunity
