Job Summary
The Manager, Emergency Department oversees daily operations, nursing care delivery, and staff management within the Free Standing Emergency Department. This role focuses on fostering a culture of excellence in patient care, quality outcomes, and employee engagement. The Manager collaborates with leadership and interdisciplinary teams to ensure operational efficiency, compliance with regulatory standards, and the achievement of organizational goals in quality, safety, growth, and financial performance.

Associate Degree in Nursing required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience in emergency care required 1-2 years of management experience preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong clinical knowledge of emergency care standards, workflows, and regulatory requirements. Proven leadership and team-building skills to foster collaboration and employee engagement. Ability to use data analysis and performance metrics to guide decision-making and improve outcomes. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams, patients, and stakeholders. Knowledge of budget management, financial planning, and resource allocation. Expertise in quality improvement and risk mitigation practices. Familiarity with regulatory and accreditation standards applicable to emergency services.Licenses and Certifications
RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required BCLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) required ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) required PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) required CEN - Certified Emergency Room Nurse preferred or ENPC - Emergency Nursing Pediatric Certification preferredBenefits
