**Responsibilities** **Night Full Time Cardiac Surgery ICU Registered Nurse** **$15,000 - Sign On Bonus offered for new hires. Per policy, current employees are not eligible.** **Employee Referral Eligible** Join our nationally renowned state of the art 6-bed Cardiac Surgery/Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit, and be part of a Cardiac Surgery program headed by the largest and busiest Cardiothoracic group in Northern California. The staff in the CSICU is comprised entirely of RNs with training in post-operative Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) recovery and certified in managing patients on Intra Aortic Balloon Pumps (IABP). We are also a Neuroscience and Stroke Certified Center and our nurses’ care for complex neurological patients, such as postoperative neurosurgery patients requiring EVD placement and ICP management and brain edema treatment protocols. **Position Summary:** The incumbent provides, coordinates and directs care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge.
