Job Description:

This position represents the face of Intermountain Healthcare to customers, patients, and physicians who use Courier services to transport items between facilities and organizations within Intermountain Healthcare. This position is responsible to take care of the customers needs by providing and delivering professional, helpful, and high quality service. This position drives a light or medium duty vehicle less than 10,000 GVW, making deliveries of equipment, packages, specimens, and supplies. The routes vary from short local routes of only a few miles to long distance routes covering up to 500 plus miles per day.

Scope

As a Valet / Parking Attendant you need to know how to:

Be the first and last point of contact to St. Vincent Healthcare, greeting everyone coming and leaving the organization; offering assistance as needed.Maintaining cleanliness of the outdoor entrance area as well as inside the lobby; and providing valet parking for our guests. Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors and staff.Provide information, directions, wheelchair assistance, and entering and exiting vehicle assistance.Keep exterior entrance areas clean, safe and welcoming. Pick up trash as needed, sweep entrances, provide snow removal and ice-melt during winter months. Keep the interior entrance and lobby area clean, safe and welcoming. Pick up trash as needed, sweep and/or mop entrances, update reading materials, etc.Be responsible for safely parking the vehicles of patients and visitors. Organize key/number systems.

Minimum Qualifications
 High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Montana driver’s license Proven ability to drive vehicles with manual transmissions Ability to show proof of insurabilityMaintain a clean driving record annually

Physical Requirements:

Climbing, hearing/listening, lifting, manual dexterity, pulling/pushing, seeing, sitting, speaking, squatting/kneeling, walking, standing.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

$16.83 - $21.88
