This role may include one or more of the following responsibilities for high-end equipment (Segment 5+): roll-fed press operation, copier operation, bindery, fulfillment, quality control, final check, pickup/delivery, facility maintenance, and mailroom duties.
This is an allocated position that exists only when business needs warrant it and must be approved by the Regional Director of Services. The position reports directly to the Site Manager, Site Supervisor, or Assistant Site Manager, depending on the site’s personnel configuration.
Job Duties and Responsibilities Follows Ricoh Service Excellence performance requirements. Performs copy and mail center services, convenience copier fleet management, and various support services. Operates and maintains high-end production equipment, such as roll-fed continuous production systems. Sets up, calibrates, and ensures optimal performance of equipment. Prepares, inspects, compiles, and assembles projects accurately and on time. Meets deadlines while maintaining high-quality, error-free work. Achieves productivity standards set by the facility. Maintains all required reporting tools. Calibrates equipment to ensure color and quality match originals. Transfers files electronically from the network to color equipment. Produces error-free work using duplication equipment. Performs multiple functions simultaneously to maximize print performance. Troubleshoots hardware and software issues. Resolves simple machine problems (e.g., clearing jams, refilling toner, replacing oil) and reports equipment failures. Maintains a professional appearance and a clean, organized workspace. Orders and manages inventory of equipment parts per company guidelines. Adheres to company attendance standards, including punctuality and overtime. Organizes jobs by validating job details and preparing necessary supplies. Performs diagnostics, installations, removals, and retrofits on complex office products. Demonstrates digital competencies for assigned products. Repairs or replaces equipment components as needed. Completes technical training on new equipment. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Certifications)Typically Required:
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of related experience. Preferred: 3 years of experience in a roll-fed printing environment. Technical aptitude for setting up and operating complex printing equipment, including software controls. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent customer service skills. Strong organizational and prioritization abilities. Ability to use, calibrate, and troubleshoot office and technical equipment. Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Demands Office environment with adequate lighting, ventilation, and normal noise levels. Requires interpreting and applying complex information and instructions. Some physical effort required: walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects up to 50 lbs.
