This role is intended for students currently enrolled in an accredited institution, offering them an opportunity to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world setting. The Student Worker assists with various administrative or operational tasks and is expected to manage their time effectively to balance work and academic commitments. **Essential Functions** + Assists with day-to-day departmental tasks that may include administrative support, data entry, filing, and organizing documents. + Supports department staff with specific projects or routine operations, such as preparing reports, updating databases, or creating presentations. + Provides customer service and support to employees, students, or external stakeholders, depending on the department. + Conducts research and gathers information for department projects or initiatives as assigned. + Maintains confidentiality and ensures data accuracy while working with sensitive information. + Participates in team meetings and contributes ideas for improving processes or enhancing department functions. + Completes assigned tasks on time while maintaining a high standard of work. + Performs other duties as assigned. + Complies with all policies and standards. **Qualifications** + Prior experience is not required, but previous office or administrative experience is a plus **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. + Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. + Proficiency in basic computer software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). + Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently or with minimal supervision. + Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills. **We know it’s not just about finding a job.
