The Respiratory Therapy Technician - Certified provides direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed Respiratory Therapist or Physician, delivering therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory treatments. This role supports patients with respiratory conditions by administering prescribed therapies, operating specialized equipment, and monitoring patient responses. The Respiratory Therapy Technician ensures compliance with organizational protocols and regulatory standards while fostering a safe and supportive care environment.

0-2 years of experience in a clinical respiratory care setting requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Comprehensive understanding of respiratory therapy techniques, equipment, and treatment protocols. Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting respiratory equipment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient education and collaboration with clinical teams. Knowledge of infection control practices and safety standards in respiratory care. Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to dynamic care environments.Licenses and Certifications
CRTT - Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician required BCLS - Basic Life Support requiredState Specific Requirements
Georgia: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required within 90 days of employment.
