**Responsibilities** The Operating Room Clinical Nurse is an experienced practitioner who demonstrates in-depth knowledge of nursing and patient care, and has the ability to practice independently at MMC and applicable entities. The OR Clinical Nurse also serves as a resource person as well as a preceptor. Under minimal supervision, the OR Clinical Nurse identifies and implements nursing interventions for patients and evaluates the results of these interventions for a given patient population. Supports and promotes the provision of quality patient care. Employees are responsible for completion of unit competency assessments, annual safety review, CPR, and renewal of license by maintaining continuing education units as required by hospital policy. In addition to these major responsibilities, the Registered Nurse may be assigned other duties. \#RN@DH **Qualifications** + Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license. + One (1) year specialty experience required. + Circulating experience required, prefer a minimum of 1 year circulating experience. + Current approved health care provider CPR - BLS certification within 30 days of employment. + Current ACLS or completion of ACLS course within 30 days of employment. + CNOR preferred. + Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.
