**Responsibilities** **About This Position** In keeping with Marian Medical Center health care philosophy, the Same-Day Care Center Nurse is an experienced practitioner who demonstrates in-depth knowledge of nursing and patient care and the ability to practice independently at MMC and applicable entities. The Same-Day Care Center Nurse also serves as a resource person as well as a preceptor. Under minimal supervision, the Same-Day Care Center Nurse identifies and implements nursing interventions for the pre-operative and post- operative phases of patients over 14 years of age, and provides care for the outpatient medical and surgical procedures.
