This position's primary responsibility is to ensure that the 7-Eleven EV Charging program is providing Fast Convenient and reliable charging experiences to our customers. You will drive product vision, roadmap planning and execution as we deploy Fast Chargers across our vast network of Stores. This role will provide leadership and support and be a key contributor to the EV Strategy for continued growth of the EV business. This role requires a deep understanding of EV Charging hardware/software and Microgrid/DER technologies, market trends, desired customer experiences, as well as strong leadership, technical, business and communication skills. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: + Identify strategic partnerships and alliances with technology vendors, utilities, automakers, and other stakeholders to accelerate the adoption of EV charging infrastructure. + Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics in the EV charging technology landscape. + Develop and articulate the long-term vision and strategy for the company's EV charging technology portfolio, aligned with business objectives and market trends. + Drive continuous innovation in EV charging technology, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure, to enhance performance, reliability, and user experience. + Drive continuous improvement activities on equipment in the field, including evaluating infrastructure, site layouts, service performance and tracking uptime. + Lead a cross-functional teams and technology partners in the design, development, and testing of new EV charging products and features, from concept to commercialization. + Provide leadership and support to the EV Strategy supporting the planning aspects of EV projects. + Understand reasoning behind charger downtown to be a key contributor to solution to + Key leader in EV technical business contract meetings, driving timely reviews, terms and timelines. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 10+ years YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: 5+ years CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: Professional Engineer (preferred) SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: + Education: Bachelors/4-year degree in Engineering. Electrical preferred. Masters degree (preferred) + Experience: Deep technical expertise in EV Charging systems, power electronics, Microgrids/DERs, Utilities, charging protocols, OCPP communication protocols and related procurement and contract negotiation leadership. + Leadership experience driving cross-functional collaboration between internal and external resources for ongoing EV Charging product selection/improvement. + Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of applications and thorough working knowledge of database concepts and common applications. + Excellent written and verbal communication, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. + Strong leadership and time-management skills; the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple, competing priorities to achieve high levels of performance and deliver sustainable results If an hourly or salary range is included in this ad it represents the range 7-Eleven in good faith believes is the range of compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
