Senior Program Manager, Solution Dev Department Design & Advanced Svcs
Position Profile

The Senior Program Manager, Solution Development plays a critical role in driving the sale of Ricoh Printing’s TotalFlow solution portfolio. Partnering with regional and printing sales teams, this role supports both pre-sales and direct sales efforts by evaluating, testing, and documenting customer business and technical needs to deliver compelling Ricoh solutions.

The individual is responsible for identifying and closing Professional Services and solution product opportunities with both net-new and existing customers. Acting as a trusted advisor, the Senior Program Manager applies a consultative approach to deliver tailored solutions that align with customer objectives.

Key Responsibilities Meet or exceed assigned equipment and professional services sales targets. Achieve assigned KPIs, including face-to-face sales calls, customer demos, solution sales, and solution attach rates. Collaborate with regional sales teams to assess customer needs and assist in developing account strategies. Propose and close sales of complex services and solutions, either as part of broader equipment sales or independently. Conduct needs analyses and document requirements to recommend hardware, software, and services aligned with business goals. Secure customer acceptance of proposed implementation plans (independently or with the PPSE). Engage with the Corporate Customer Relations Group as needed, ensuring issue resolution via the CIL process. Follow up on internal customer satisfaction surveys to identify new opportunities. Ensure customer satisfaction through effective post-sale engagement and support. Pursue ongoing development of personal sales, technical, and business skills via training and certifications. Stay informed of industry trends and competitive solutions relevant to Ricoh’s offerings. Serve as a subject matter expert in solutions such as data streams, workflow, finishing, VDP, and Web2Print. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in printing pre-sales and post-sales services, solution implementation, and/or industry-specific experience Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong organizational, interpersonal, and self-motivation skills Ability to prioritize and execute tasks independently Deep understanding of sales cycles, SOW writing, and technical documentation Proficient in printing technologies and environments: Host printing, data center printing, print-on-demand, color Print description languages: AFP, PDF, Metacode, LCDS, Postscript, PCL Expertise in workflow design and workflow solutions Experience with networking technologies: WAN/LAN, TCP/IP, and network administration Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Mac applications Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic account plans Familiarity with book publishing and direct mail is a plus Knowledge of Xerox FreeFlow and Oce Prisma is an asset Working Conditions & Physical Demands Standard office environment with normal lighting, ventilation, temperature, and noise levels Primarily sedentary work with occasional walking, standing, bending, lifting (typically under 10 lbs) Requires moderate dexterity (e.g., keyboarding, use of tools, hand-eye coordination) Frequent travel to customer locations; may involve areas not accessible via public transit
