Position Summary
Responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of a selling organization culture with a consumer-centric focus through Marketing, Category, Merchandising, and Pricing responsibilities. Lead the development of the center store commercial plan and weekly ad flyer. Serve as the single point of contact between marketing and center store category teams.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Support the commercial planning and ad development within Marketing, Category, Merchandising, and Pricing as it relates to the strategies and initiatives.Execute the population and changes associated with the commercial plan and Ad development. Serve as the single point of contact between Marketing and center store category teams.Support execution of planned and incremental shopper marketing opportunities that cross multiple category desks.Review multiple ad drafts to ensure comprehensive ad development and verification of co-marketing support/commitments. Ensure ad reflects overarching banner strategies.Develop analytical reports that measure weekly ad performance to help drive sales and define future ad strategiesUnderstand competitive ad strategy and tactics and influence change where appropriate to improve our weekly ad effectiveness.Build effective communication to center store category teams of commercial plan and weekly adsInfluence and support the creation of programs and initiatives that deliver on our strategy and drive sales and market share.Collaborate with Merchandising, Category, Marketing, Retail Services, Retail Operations, and other areas of the organization as needed for the development, implementation, and ongoing support for all products and programs.Responsible for the development and execution of new store grand opening ads as well as other localized adsCollaborate with e-commerce team on the execution of the omni-channel commercial planCollaborate with thematic team to incorporate thematic plans into the omni-channel commercial planCommunicate the commercial plan as well as changes to weekly ads during the proofing process to the merchandise planning teamLead weekly ad review meetings to make sure the ad has accurate item information and marketing elements that align with the omni-channel commercial planInfluence ad change through competitive ad strategies and tacticsServe as a member of key teams and committees as neededDevelop and lead effective training and continued education for the ad flyer process with CMP

Basic Qualifications
