**Responsibilities** The Emergency Department Supervisor of Nursing is responsible for the daily operations, clinical oversight, and staff management of the Emergency Department at Mercy Mount Shasta. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, safe, and efficient patient care in a fast-paced, critical access hospital environment. The Supervisor collaborates with the Director of Nursing, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient flow, resource utilization, and adherence to established standards of practice. The Supervisor actively participates in the hospital's trauma and stroke programs, quality improvement initiatives, and contributes to a positive and supportive work environment. The Supervisor also plays a key role in disaster preparedness and response within the Emergency Department and the hospital as a whole. \#R@DH **Qualifications** **Required Education and Experience** Associate Degree in Nursing **Required Licensure and Certifications** RN:CA BLS-CPR, ACLS, PALS TNCC required within 12 months of hire Disaster preparedness certifications, FEMA ICS/NIMS Training required, within 12 months of hire **Preferred Education and Experience** Bachelor of Science in Nursing **Overview** Mercy Medical Center Mt.
