Overview Primary responsibility is to maintain the database integrity of the clinical information systems used in the Perioperative Services. It has the responsibility to provide clinical liaison functions and technology integration implementations into the working clinical knowledge base of management and staff within the Perioperative Services Department as well as supervise and instruct the Perioperative Service Centralized Scheduling team. Qualifications Required Education:: Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare and/or Information Systems Preferred Education:: Master's Degree Required Experience:: 3-5 years' experience database management & systems analysis AND over 5 years' healthcare experience Preferred Experience:: 5 years' perioperative or related experience Necessary Skills:: 1. Must have organization and time management skills including but not limited to organizing, planning and prioritizing work. 2. Must demonstrate critical thinking, judgment and complex problem solving abilities. 3. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including but not limited to presentation skills and report writing. Supervisory Responsibility: Yes; Number of Employees Supervised: 11-14
