Job Summary
The Radilogy Technologist Special Procedures II performs specialized radiologic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating diseases. This role requires expertise in handling advanced imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and following precise protocols to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. The Radilogy Technologist Special Procedures II collaborates with medical teams to deliver comprehensive patient care and supports the maintenance of imaging technology. Assists in leadership responsibilities in Special Procedures department area.
Essential Functions
Qualifications
Associate Degree graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology required 1-3 years clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist required 3-5 years clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist in Special Procedures/IR/ASC preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work accurately while meeting multiple deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with critical thinking and professional composure. Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with patients, families, healthcare professionals and external vendors. Ability to operate and understand radiographic technology and equipment/applications. Basic computer skills. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy and comply with all HIPPA requirements. Ability to use initiative and independent judgment. Knowledge of radiation safety and protection procedures.Licenses and Certifications
ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required BCLS - Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire required ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support As required required PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support As required required
